Group Statuses

Overview

Group Statuses indicate the current state or phase of a group's operation. These statuses help administrators and members quickly understand where a group stands in terms of activity, support requirements, or development stage. Examples of group statuses may include "Enquiry," "Running Well," and "Needs Support" but the titles and colours associated are entirely up to the organisation.

Please note that if colours are not selected when adding or editing group statuses, a colour scheme will be automatically selected. Colours can be selected via the selector, or added via RGB, HEX, or HSL codes.

How to Add a Group Status

  1. Navigate to the Group Statuses section within the System Settings.
  2. Press the "Add new status" button, which will open the Create Group Status pop-up.
  3. Fill in the Status Information:
    • Status Name: Enter the name of the status (e.g., "Running Well").
    • Text Colour and Background Colour: Select appropriate colours for your group status.
  4. Press the "Save" button.
  5. A new group status has been added and is now visible in the Group Statuses Table.

How to Edit a Group Status

  1. Navigate to the Group Statuses section within the System Settings.
  2. Locate the status you wish to edit in the Group Statuses Table.
  3. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  4. Press the "View" option to open the Edit Group Status pop-up.
  5. Update the status information as needed:
    • Status Name: Modify the name of the status.
    • Text Colour and Background Colour: Select appropriate colours for your group status.
  6. Press the "Save" button to apply the changes.

How to Delete a Group Status

  1. Navigate to the Group Statuses section within the System Settings.
  2. Locate the status you wish to delete in the Group Statuses Table.
  3. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  4. Press the "Delete" option, which will open a confirmation pop-up.
  5. Press "Yes, I'm sure" to confirm the deletion or choose "No, cancel" to stop the status from being deleted.

How to Search and Navigate Group Statuses

To efficiently manage and locate specific group statuses, use the search and navigation functionalities provided on the Group Statuses page:

  1. Search Group Statuses:

    • Use the search bar at the top of the page to enter keywords related to the group status you are looking for.
  2. Navigate Through Pages:

    • Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate through different pages of group statuses. Adjust the number of rows displayed per page using the dropdown menu.
