Event Types
Overview
Event Types categorise the kinds of events being logged within your system. Examples of event types may include "Training" or "Skillshare", and are completely up to the organisation to add and manage. By defining and managing event types, you can ensure consistent and organised tracking of all events.

How to Add an Event Type
- Navigate to the Event Types section within the System Settings.
- Press the "Add new event type" button, which will open the Create Event Type pop-up.
- Fill in the Event Type Information:
- Event Type Name: Enter the name of the event type (e.g., "Training").
- Description: Provide a brief description of what this event type entails.
- Press the "Save" button.
- A new event type has been added and is now visible in the Event Types Table.
How to Edit an Event Type
- Navigate to the Event Types section within the System Settings.
- Locate the event type you wish to edit in the Event Types Table.
- Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
- Press the "Edit" option to open the Edit Event Type pop-up.
- Update the event type information as needed:
- Event Type Name: Modify the name of the event type.
- Description: Update the description of the event type.
- Press the "Save" button to apply the changes.
How to Delete an Event Type
- Navigate to the Event Types section within the System Settings.
- Locate the event type you wish to delete in the Event Types Table.
- Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
- Press the "Delete" option, which will open a confirmation pop-up.
- Press "Yes, I'm sure" to confirm the deletion or choose "No, cancel" to stop the event type from being deleted.
How to Search and Navigate Event Types
To efficiently manage and locate specific event types, use the search and navigation functionalities provided on the Event Types page:

Search Event Types:
- Use the search bar at the top of the page to enter keywords related to the event type you are looking for.

Navigate Through Pages:
- Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate through different pages of event types. Adjust the number of rows displayed per page using the dropdown menu.
