Activity Statuses

Overview

Activity Statuses indicate the current state or phase of an activity's operation. These statuses help administrators and members quickly understand where an activity stands in terms of progress, support requirements, or development stage. Examples of activity statuses may include "Running Well," "Planned," and "Dormant," but the titles and colours associated are entirely up to the organisation.

Please note that if colours are not selected when adding or editing activity statuses, a colour scheme will be automatically selected. Colours can be selected via the selector, or added via RGB, HEX, or HSL codes.

How to Add an Activity Status

  1. Navigate to the Activity Statuses section within the System Settings.
  2. Press the "Add activity status" button, which will open the Create Activity Status pop-up.
  3. Fill in the Status Information:
    • Status Name: Enter the name of the status (e.g., "In Progress").
    • Text Colour and Background Colour: Select appropriate colours for your activity status.
  4. Press the "Save" button.
  5. A new activity status has been added and is now visible in the Activity Statuses Table.

How to Edit an Activity Status

  1. Navigate to the Activity Statuses section within the System Settings.
  2. Locate the status you wish to edit in the Activity Statuses Table.
  3. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  4. Press the "Edit" option to open the Edit Activity Status pop-up.
  5. Update the status information as needed:
    • Status Name: Modify the name of the status.
    • Text Colour and Background Colour: Select appropriate colours for your activity status.
  6. Press the "Save" button to apply the changes.

How to Delete an Activity Status

  1. Navigate to the Activity Statuses section within the System Settings.
  2. Locate the status you wish to delete in the Activity Statuses Table.
  3. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  4. Press the "Delete" option, which will open a confirmation pop-up.
  5. Press "Yes, I'm sure" to confirm the deletion or choose "No, cancel" to stop the status from being deleted.

How to Search and Navigate Activity Statuses

To efficiently manage and locate specific activity statuses, use the search and navigation functionalities provided on the Activity Statuses page:

  1. Search Activity Statuses:

    • Use the search bar at the top of the page to enter keywords related to the activity status you are looking for.
  2. Navigate Through Pages:

    • Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate through different pages of activity statuses. Adjust the number of rows displayed per page using the dropdown menu.
