Activity Frequencies

Overview

Activity Frequencies indicate how often an acitivity takes place. For example this could be:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Yearly

Seeing as these can be used for reporting there are additional options to include what the frequency is relative to days. This makes it easier to do calculations.

What about ad-hoc, impromptu and one-off activities?

Not all activities are scheduled. To add an unscheduled, ad-hoc, impromptu and/or one-off activity leave the Frequency in Days value as zero (0). This will then how that the activity frequency is Ad-Hoc.

How to Add an Activity Frequencies

  1. Navigate to the Activity Frequencies section within the System Settings.
  2. Press the "Add frequency" button, which will open the Add Activity Frequency pop-up.
  3. Fill in the Frequency Information:
    • Name: Enter the name of the frequency (e.g., "Daily").
    • Description: Add a description for other users to read and have a better idea of what this frequency is.
    • Frequency in Days: Leave as 0 or add a demical number to correspond to the value in days.
  4. Press the "Save" button.
  5. A new activity frequency has been added and is now visible in the Activity Frequencies Table.

How to Edit an Activity Frequency

  1. Navigate to the Activity Frequencies section within the System Settings.
  2. Locate the frequency you wish to edit in the Activity Frequencies Table.
  3. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  4. Press the "Edit" option to open the Edit Activity Frequency pop-up.
  5. Update the frequency information as needed:
    • Name: Modify the name of the frequency.
    • Description: Change the description.
    • Frequency in Days: Alter the number of days.
  6. Press the "Save" button to apply the changes.

How to Delete an Activity Frequency

  1. Navigate to the Activity Frequencies section within the System Settings.
  2. Locate the frequency you wish to delete in the Activity Frequencies Table.
  3. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  4. Press the "Delete" option, which will open a confirmation pop-up.
  5. Press "Yes, I'm sure" to confirm the deletion or choose "No, cancel" to stop the frequency from being deleted.

How to Search and Navigate Activity Frequencies

To efficiently manage and locate specific activity frequencies, use the search and navigation functionalities provided on the Activity Frequencies page:

  1. Search Activity Frequencies:

    • Use the search bar at the top of the page to enter keywords related to the activity status you are looking for.

  2. Navigate Through Pages:

    • Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate through different pages of activity frequencies. Adjust the number of rows displayed per page using the dropdown menu.
