The Organisations section within a Project is a vital component of the platform, dedicated to managing the organisations involved in a project. This section allows administrators to efficiently create and manage organisation profiles, ensuring they can be easily utilised by different groups and activities within the project. By streamlining the management of these profiles, the Organisations section enhances the project's ability to coordinate efforts and allocate resources effectively. This structured approach not only simplifies administrative tasks but also promotes better collaboration and integration among various entities involved in the project.

The Organisations Table displays all the organisations associated with this project. This table provides a comprehensive view of each organisation, allowing for:

How to Create an Organisation

Creating an organisation within the platform is a straightforward process that allows you to add and manage entities efficiently. Follow the steps below to create a new organisation:

  1. Navigate to the Projects - Organisations page.
  2. Press the Add organisation button, which will open a new page.
  3. Complete the information on the page. This includes:
    • Organisation Details:
      • Name: The name assigned to this organisation.
      • Description: A brief description of this organisation.
  4. Press Save.
  5. A new organisation has been created and is now visible in the Organisations Table.

How to Delete an Organisation

Deleting an organisation is a simple yet critical action that permanently removes an entity from the project. Ensure that you intend to delete before proceeding. Follow the steps below to delete an organisation:

  1. Navigate to the Projects - Organisations page.
  2. Press the button in the Actions column, which will open a menu.
  3. Press the Delete option, which will open a confirmation pop-up.
  4. Press Yes, I'm sure to confirm the deletion or choose No, cancel to stop the organisation from being deleted.
